Freida Pinto became famous world wide with Slumdom Millionaire. Before that, she was a model, attended for many ramp walks and appeared in commercial ads like Airtel, Vodafone, Skoda and Debeers.

But she never caught by Bollywoood movie makers. Danny Boyle has selected her for the lead role in Slumdog Millionaire after auditioning many girls. With this movie success she became world wide fame.

Slumdog Millionare went many film festivals and award functions. In every eve she has attracted international movie makers. Present she is acting in a French movie. And got chance to act in an English movie which will be directed by Woody Allen. Anupam Kher also playing a key role in this film.

L’oreal replaced Aishwarya Rai with Freida Pinto as their brand ambassador.

Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra came from a family which does not have any relation with the film industry. She was born in Jharkhand, and brought up mostly in Uttar Pradesh . For her higher studies she came to  Mumbai.

In college days she was attracted towards the fashion world. In 2000 at the age of 18 years, she won the Miss World crown.

The Miss World title gave her a lot of fame. She easily found chances to act in movies. Like another Miss World Aishwarya Rai she also started her career with a Tamil movie Thamizhan with Vijay.

But after this movie she never acted in any South Indian movie. She entered into Bollywood with the movie Hero: Love Story of A Spy with Sunny Deol.

Same year she got a super hit with Andaaz. She received the Filmfare award for this film. She started 2004 with 4 flops. But the Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar starrer Mujh Se Shaadi Karogi made her very fame. Following film Aitraaz earned another Filmfare to Priyanka for her first negative character.

She has never turned back after Aitraaz.  She got super hits like Krrish, Dostana and Fashion. Now she is working for  Ashutosh Gowarikar‘s What’s Your Raashee? and Kaminey with Shahid Kapoor.

Sushmita Sen

Modeling is the first step for most actors. So many models aspire to become an actor or actress. Sushmita Sen is one of the best examples. She became a model because of her mother who was fashion designer. At the age of 15 she contested in Air Force Club contest which was her first public appearance. After this contest she participated in many ramp shows.

In 1994 she became Miss India by defeating Aishwarya Rai. In the same year at the age of 18 years she won the Miss Universe crown. With out any struggles she got good opportunities in Bollywood. She made her Bollywood debut with the movie Dastak.

But she received success with a Tamil film Ratchagan. After this movie also she didn’t attract too many Bollywood viewers. In 1999 David Dhawan gave her an excellent break with the movie Biwi No.1. In this movie she was paired with Salman Khan for a glamourous role Rupali for which she received a good response.

She gave super hits like Main Hoon Naa with Shah Rukh Khan. Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya in this movie she acted with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. She tried many different films like Vaasthu Shastra and Paisa Vasool.

She continued to feature in ads and ramp shows. Recently she rocked in the Maheka Mirpuri ramp show. She was seen in the Lakme Fashion Show with her daughter. She is also doing ads for Lux ,Pantene, Kia diamonds and Olay Total Effects.
